A wiki is a website whose users can add, modify, or delete its content via a web browser. I chose to use Google Docs because I did not want to create another user name and password. Because I already have a Gmail account it allows me to access all of Google’s products using my Gmail account information, so I do not have to create another profile. Google just moved the information that I selected over to my blogger account with me just answering to few questions. I currently work in Duncanville ISD and we moved to Schoolfusion as better ways communicate with all stakeholder. The new web page are now easier to use with web 2.0 tools like blogs, podcast editable calendar , for every level, a place to collaborate with individual on other campus without seeing or speaking to them for weeks at a time. We have access to a staff portal which have small group set up. For example I am a member of group of Duncanville High School Staff, Duncanville High School Administrators, and District Professional Development. When comments are added, or changes are made I am sent an email with the link to the page to see what has changed. These are all good ways to save time and travel less inside of the district.
